Compensation under the Workers' Compensation Act is being given to the departed Shri Ram Krishan Sharma, Sr. Cashier of Northern Railway, Ferozepur, who fell to the compartment floor while doing his duties and was struck by a gust of wind. It was decided that it would be reasonable to assume that he might not have passed away from acute heart failure if it weren't for the jerk he received and the subsequent fall to the ground. It would not be required of the applicant to provide proof that the deceased had a history of cardiac problems and that his work contributed to an earlier death from heart failure. Given the situation, the Railway was requested to make this payment
