Training in Hindi Morse-Grant of Honorarium of Rs. 50/- to Signallers for qualifying in Hindi Morse. The decision of the Board communicated that:- 1. (i) training in Hindi Morse should be compulsory to all newly recruited Signallers; and (ii) training in Hindi Morse will be imparted to recruited Signallers after one year of duty post and not later than 2nd year of their service. The promotion confirmation etc. will be conditional on their successful training in Hindi. 2. The period of payment of honorarium of Rs. 50/- mentioned in Board's letter No. E(G)57HOI-8 dated 11.10.57 extended for a period of 3 years
