On April 8, 1960, the Fourth Meeting of the Central Advisory Board for Minimum Wages was held in New Delhi. The following topics were covered: (i) adding casual work and jobs handled (whether departmentally or otherwise) on railroads to the minimum Wages Act of 1948. (ii) that greater pay in a scheduled job where the set minimum wage was lower ought to be legally safeguarded. (iii) that personnel performing light duty and those performing demanding weekly hours should have separate normal weekly hours and overtime
