4th Meeting of the minimum wages central advisory board convened at New Delhi on 4-8-1960. Subjects discussed included:-(i) addition to the schedule of employment to the minimum Wages act, 1948 of casual employment and employment on handling (Worked departmentally or otherwise) on Railways. (ii) that higher wages in a scheduled employment in which the minimum wage rates fixed were lower should be statutorily protected. (iii) that there should be different standard weekly hours and overtime for doing strenuous weekly hours and for employees doing light duty
