With refrence a letter of the 8th ultimo, regarding the issue of percnsssion Caps to such if the Corps of punjanb irregular Cavy as are armed with Percussion Carbines, report that the issue of Caps to Irregular Cavy in lieu of match lock allowance is not provided for by the regiments that sanction has however recently been accorded for the supplying of 7 lints to the 11th Irregular cavy in lieu of match lock allowance that the 16th Irregular cavy has been supplied with percussion cabines Cap Bags and Percussion caps at the expense of Govt.
