With reference to a letter of the 18th instnat relative to a suggestion from the civil auditors that it may be made a rule in furture that teh military allowances of officers helding civil appointment at other president that the one to which they are attached shall not be paid without a certificate stating that the sume ois due offers observation and recommeds taht the resoultion publishing in calcutta gazeetta from the poll depart under date the 27th june 1838 relative to teh amount of pay proper of the regimental rank of a mily incambention civil employ on a consolidation salary being charge able to the military.
