Secretary Government North Western Provinces - In acknowledging receipt of the above authorizes a special Building grant of Rs. 3000 and an annual grant of Rs. 3000 to Joynarains School at Benares also a grant of Rs. 125 per mensem to St. Peters College at Agra but it does not appear from the papers submitted that any tuition fees are taken at St. Pauls School at Agra no grant for that Institution can be sanctioned - agrees with the Lieut Governer in thinking that a foundation for a limited numbers of free Scholars in a College or School which takes tuition fees generally is not contrary to the spirit of the rule - But in the case of Joynarians School at Benares does not clearly appear whether there is any foundation for graduates instruction of poor boys and whether the Committee have rightly interpreted the Instructions of the founder.
