Govt. of Bombay informed that under rule 4(i) of the civil service (Governor provinces) Delegation Rules, 1926 local Govt. are competent to same rules presenting officials belonging to the Provincial and subordinate securities and specialist officers to subscribe to a special provident fund or such terms as each local Govt. May prescribe the rate of interest to be allowed should be that fixed by the Govt. of India from time to time in the General provident Fund.
