Views of the Hyderabad State Legislature on S.R. Bill, mainly:- i) The new State of Andhra should be named Andhra Pradesh. ii) Provision should should be made in the Bill for the Leg. Assembly of Andhra Pradesh to elect its own Speaker and Deputy speaker. iii) There should be a Leg. Council each for Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. iv) The strength of Maharashtra Leg. Assembly should be raised from 240 to 280. v) There should be a seperate High Court for Maharashtra. 2. Suggestion made by the Revenue Minister, Hyderabad, that there should be a High Court Bench at Guntur
