Consideration of the question whether in cases where the penalty originally imposed by an authority is enhanced by a higher authority in terms of Rule 1725 (6)-R-I, an appeal against the enhanced penalty shall lie to a still higher authority even where the enhanced penalty is withing the competence of the original punishing authority. Decision that when a penalty imposed an a Railway servant is enhanced by any of the authorities specified in sub clause (a) and Rule 1725-R-I, in terms of sub clause (b) thereof an appeal shall be to the authority next above that which enhanced the penalty. Amendment to the code made accordingly
