(1) The Rules became effective on 10.2.71 (2) Members of the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board CE (Shri U.S. Rao) & Director comml (Shri L.D. Panke) Members are encouraged to join; representatives from NFIR and AIRF are also present. (4) Licencing officers, Registration officers, Appellate authorities, and Inspectors- issuance of notification about (5) Divisional officers GMWs, Dy. CMEs FKs Managers, DCOs & XENs & HDs of deptts are the primary employers in Rly. establishments. (6) According to the RDSO, the Act does not apply to the establishment. It does not apply to establishments such as vegetarian/non-vegetarian refreshment rooms, tea stalls and curios booths managed by private individuals with a railway licence. (7) Railways have been advised that they may incur expenditure on registration, etc., of establishments that came under the purview of the Act in order to fulfil their functions under the Act- With effect from 20.1.72, no contractor to whom the Act applies shall undertake any contract work except in accordance with the licence granted to him under the Act
