To Secretary - With reference to the correspondence noted relative to the omission of the finance colunms in the monthly reports of the proceedings of the Protection of Emigrants at Calcutta a form which was precuted in letter from this Department No. 289 dated the 7th October 1843 enquires whether the annual statements shewing the annual amount chargiable under the orders by the Honble Court of Director to the Colonies to which Emigration takes place is prepared and to whom it is rendered since it is does not appear that is is received in this office.
