Southern Railway-Payment of compensation to the family of late Joseph, Khalasi MW 1112 Engineering Workshop at Arkonam. Late Joseph had heart ailment who was deputed by Railway Administration to operate a welding plant at Adoni- While getting on with the work, he complained of chest pain and collapsed. The family of the decased file a claim in the court. Decision that even chest pain as a result of which he must obviously had died was itself an injury caused by accident arising out of and the course of his employment with in section 3 of the W.C. Act. As such the Railway were advised that this was a case which should be settled out of court
